Emmanuel Church Sidcup We had a meeting on the 23rd October 2024 to discuss the future of our Messy Church and it is with deep regret that after lengthy deliberation and soul searching, we unanimously decided that after over 11years we must end. We are getting older and it seems to be a sign of the times that younger people don’t have the time to step into our shoes. All our wonderful Messy Angels agreed that it has been fun and we have enjoyed every minute, despite the hard work. We will sadly miss all those happy tired little faces, going home on a Messy Saturday Afternoon, grasping all their wonderful “crafty” things that they have made. Thank you, thank you all you wonderful Messy Angels who have given up so much of your time, money and most of all your love which I am sure will remain in the good memories of our Messy Families for ever. We have accumulated over the years lots of paper, card, paint, glue and scissors etc. etc. which the Beavers and Rainbows might be interested in. Some will go, of course, to Emmanuel Church Playgroup. We do have, between us, a wealth of craft ideas so if anyone is interested, please let us know. On behalf of Emmanuel Sidcup Messy Church Roger
